Fake Blood and Weapon Used for Reel Shoot: Panic in Karnataka as Two Men Are Arrested
Two people were arrested in Kalaburagi, Karnataka after a fake murder scene filmed for an Instagram reel caused widespread panic. The incident occurred late Monday night and was reported to the police on Tuesday.
The incident occurred on the Humnabad Ring Road when two men, Saibanna and Sachin, staged a fake murder scene using a blunt object and a red liquid that looked like blood. According to the police, Saibanna sat on Sachin as though he had killed him with the blunt object, while Sachin lay on the ground surrounded by the red liquid. Both of them had their faces smeared with it as well. A video of the scene quickly went viral.
However, the act caused confusion and fear among local residents, who were unaware that the men were simply filming a scene for an Instagram reel. As a result, Saibanna and Sachin were arrested after the Kalaburagi Sub-Urban Police became aware of the panic their actions caused.
“The police are currently questioning both men,” an official reported.
