During the inauguration, Commissioner Shekhar Singh emphasized the significance of promoting creativity in education. “Along with academics, it is important to nurture creativity, observation, and imagination among students. This academic year, we’ve increased the number of art teachers from 32 to 64 to strengthen such initiatives. Events like ‘The Art Box’ help students gain self-awareness and take pride in their talents,” he said.
Additional Commissioner Pradip Jambhale Patil echoed this sentiment, highlighting the role of such programs in building student confidence. “It’s truly inspiring to see how PCMC schools are weaving creativity into education and empowering students to share their unique perspectives. We plan to expand such exhibitions across all clusters in every zone of the PCMC area in the coming days,” he announced.
