Pune: PMRDA Cracks Down On Illegal Plotting In Charholi Khurd, Khed Taluka
Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) initiated a major crackdown on April 8, 2025, against illegal plotting activities in Charholi Khurd, Taluka Khed. The following actions were taken:
1. Mauli Krupa Developers, Survey No. 73 – Plotting and internal roads (Approx. 44,589 sq. ft.)
2. Dattakrupa Developers, Survey No. 315/2 – Plotting, internal roads, compound wall, and fencing
3. Shiv Ganesh Park, Survey No. 325 – Plotting and internal roads (Approx. 9,500 sq. ft.)
4. Girish Lande, Shiv Ganesh Park, Survey No. 325 – 57 meters of compound wall
5. Vishnu Park, Survey No. 306 – Plotting and internal roads
6. Green Valley Park – Plotting and internal roads
The operation was carried out under the guidance of Hon. Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase and Police Superintendent and Vigilance Officer Amol Tambe.
The team included Joint Commissioner Dr. Deepti Suryawanshi-Patil, Deputy Collector Pramod Kudale, Tehsildars Sachin Maske and Ravindra Ranjane, and Branch Engineers Vishnu Awhad, Ganesh Jadhav, Abhinav Londhe, Sagar Jadhav, Pranav Dengale, Sharad Khomne, Shashibhushan Hole, Harish Mane, and Deepak Mane.
This action aims to curb illegal plotting within PMRDA limits. Unauthorized plotting involves laying out temporary roads without obtaining any non-agricultural land use permissions or layout approvals from the government. Consequently, construction permissions are not granted for such plots.
Joint Commissioner Dr. Deepti Suryawanshi-Patil has urged citizens to verify all documents before investing in plots to avoid being misled. Citizens are advised to stay alert regarding illegal plotting to prevent fraud.
