Pune: MIDC Reclaims Plot From Reliance Airport Developers For Breach Of Lease Terms
Baramati, April 9: The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has officially reclaimed a plot of land from M/s. Reliance Airport Developers Pvt. Ltd. after the company was found to have violated the terms and conditions of its lease agreement.
The plot was originally allotted to the company under a lease deed dated November 5, 2009.
However, MIDC observed several breaches of the lease conditions, prompting it to issue a termination notice on January 16, 2025.
Following due process, MIDC conducted a site inspection on April 8 and formally took possession of the land.
The action was confirmed in an official press release by Hanumant Patil, Regional Officer at MIDC’s Baramati regional office.
