Bollywood Singer Shaan and Wife Radhika Buy Rs.10 Crore Luxury Property in Pune
Bollywood playback singer Shantanu Mukherjee, better known as Shaan, and his wife Radhika Mukherjee have acquired a luxury bungalow in Pune for ₹10 crore. The property deal, registered in March 2025, was confirmed through property documents reviewed by Square Yards.
The luxurious plot and bungalow are located in the Prabhachiwadi area, situated in the Maval taluka of Pune district, Maharashtra. The property spans around 0.4 hectares (approximately 4,787.92 sq. yards), with the built-up area covering 5,500 sq. ft. (511.04 sq. m). The couple has paid a stamp duty of ₹50 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000 for the property.
Prabhachiwadi is a fast-developing locality within the Pune Metropolitan Region. The area, known for its rural charm, offers open land parcels and is experiencing emerging residential developments. Its strategic location near the Mumbai-Pune Expressway ensures easy access to Pune city and nearby industrial zones, making it an attractive option for high-net-worth individuals.
Shaan, who has enjoyed a successful career spanning over two decades, is known for his chart-topping hits in Bollywood, including songs from iconic films like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Tanu Weds Manu, and Dus.
Singers Increasingly Invest in Real Estate
Shaan’s real estate acquisition is part of a broader trend among Bollywood singers investing in luxury properties. Earlier this year, playback singer Jubin Nautiyal purchased a 4BHK apartment in Mumbai’s Madh Island area for ₹4.94 crore, according to property documents accessed by Zapkey.com. In the same month, singer Stebin Ben, along with his family, bought a duplex apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra locality for ₹6.67 crore, Square Yards documents revealed.
Additionally, Bollywood composer and singer Anu Malik and his wife sold two apartments in Mumbai’s Santacruz West for ₹14.49 crore in February. Last year, Rahul Krishna Vaidya, another well-known singer, purchased a 3,110 sq. ft. apartment in Mumbai for ₹9 crore.
In another notable development, singer-composer Mika Singh recently revealed he took possession of his 99th house after a six-year wait, with renowned designer Gauri Khan handling the apartment’s interiors.
Shaan’s latest real estate investment marks another significant addition to the growing trend of Bollywood stars diversifying their portfolios through high-end property acquisitions.
