Mumbai police have filed a rape case against actor Ajaz Khan following allegations made by a 30-year-old woman who claims he assaulted her while falsely promising acting opportunities in the film industry. The FIR, registered at Charkop police station, details multiple instances of alleged sexual assault at different locations.
According to police officials, Khan has been booked under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 64, 64(2M), 69, and 74, which pertain to rape and related offences. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities have yet to issue a formal statement on the next course of action.
Past Controversies Resurface Amid New Allegations
This is not the first time Ajaz Khan has faced legal scrutiny. He was previously named in an FIR linked to the controversial web series House Arrest, which streamed on the Ullu app. The show drew backlash for alleged obscene content, prompting political and social groups to call for its removal. In response to mounting pressure, the platform pulled all episodes.
Video clips from House Arrest that went viral online showed Khan allegedly pressuring participants, including women, to engage in intimate scenes and answer sexually explicit questions. The FIR in that case also named Ullu CEO Vibhu Agrawal.

Ajaz Khan has not released any official statement regarding the latest rape allegations. The actor, who began his career as a model, is known for roles in films like Rakta Charitra and Allah Ke Banday, as well as television appearances in Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa and Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki. He gained broader recognition through his wildcard entry in the reality show Bigg Boss 7.
Authorities have confirmed that both the rape case and the House Arrest FIR are under active investigation.
