Viral video captures heated brawl; CISF intervenes, police investigation underway
A parking dispute at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport spiraled into a violent altercation between private drivers and Crystal security staff, causing chaos in the airport premises. The incident, which occurred near a designated parking area, quickly escalated from a verbal argument to a full-blown physical scuffle.
A video of the clash, which has gone viral on social media, shows individuals exchanging blows in a scene that resembled a wrestling match. The clash disrupted normal operations briefly and drew the attention of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel stationed at the airport.
CISF officials intervened swiftly to break up the fight and restore order. According to reports, the argument began over parking space allocation and turned violent when neither party backed down.
The Sahar Police have registered a case against both parties involved. The driver and the security guard identified as the primary instigators of the fight have been arrested. Police officials confirmed that further investigation is underway to determine the full sequence of events and assign responsibility for the escalation.
Authorities are also reviewing the viral footage and speaking to witnesses to gather more evidence. Airport officials have yet to issue a formal statement but are expected to tighten parking enforcement protocols to prevent such incidents in the future.
