Pune: Hinjawadi's Blue Ridge Public School Parents Upset Over Delayed Delivery Of Books, Uniforms And Lack Of Transparency
Pune, June 28, 2025: Parents of students studying at Blue Ridge Public School, Hinjawadi, are expressing growing frustration over the delay in receiving essential school supplies such as textbooks, notebooks, uniforms, school bags, and stationery items. With the academic year well underway and exams nearing, many students are still waiting for their materials, despite multiple complaints raised with the school administration.
According to parents, the issue has persisted for weeks without any satisfactory response. “Even with exams approaching later this month and in early July, books have still not been distributed,” said one parent. “This is deeply concerning for us, as our children are unable to study properly.”
Several parents alleged that the problem has worsened since the new management took over the school. They claim there has been a lack of communication and transparency from the school’s administration regarding the delivery schedule and the reason for the delays. “We are constantly left in the dark. No one from the school is providing clear updates,” said another concerned parent.
When contacted, the school administration responded positively to Pune Pulse, assuring that parents’ grievances are being addressed and deliveries have happened too from today. The school aims at resolving the pending complaints of the parents.
Beyond the supply delays, parents have also raised serious concerns over billing practices. A parent questioned the lack of standard compliance, saying, “The issue is not just transparency—it’s about following basic sales practices. When we buy anything from a store or e-commerce platform, we always get an invoice. Why is it different here?”
Another parent accused the administration of overcharging for supplies above the MRP and criticized the lack of choice, stating that they were forced to purchase items through a single aggregator instead of being allowed to buy from vendors of their choice. “Even if the school is working to resolve the issue, we deserve clarity on pricing, invoices, and purchasing policies,” they added.
Parents are now urging the school principal and management to directly address the situation, fearing it will affect their children’s academic progress if not resolved immediately.
With growing discontent among parents and no clear timeline provided, the situation remains tense. Families are calling for urgent action and transparent communication from the school authorities to restore trust and ensure students’ needs are met without further delay.
