26 Pune-Lonavala Local Trains Cancelled, Express Services Delayed On July 13, No Halts At Khadki
Pune, July 12, 2025: Passengers travelling on the Pune-Lonavala route are set to face major disruptions on Sunday, July 13, as the Central Railway’s Pune Division undertakes Non-Interlocking (NI) works at Khadki station for a new platform upgrade.
The railway authorities have announced the cancellation of 26 suburban train services, including 13 UP and 13 Down locals between Pune and Lonavala. Popular Pune-Talegaon locals will also remain cancelled. Key cancelled services include Pune-Lonavala trains 99802, 99804, 99806, and Lonavala-Pune trains 99801, 99803, 99807 among others.
Additionally, halts at Khadki station for all suburban and express trains will be skipped during the block period. Passengers have been advised to use alternate stations for boarding and alighting.
The NI works will take place from 12 midnight to 5 pm on July 13, with a critical 5-hour traffic block from 12 pm to 5 pm. This will also affect long-distance express trains:
* CSMT-MAS Express (22159) – delayed by 1 hour
* Pune-CSMT Express (11008) – delayed by 1.5 hours
* LTT-COA Express (17222) – delayed by 30 minutes
* CSMT-TVC Express (16331) – delayed by 2 hours
* DD-INDB Express (22943) – delayed by 1.5 hours
Two trains will also have short terminations and origins at Pune: 11030 KOP-CSMT Express will terminate at Pune on July 12, while 11029 CSMT-KOP Express will originate from Pune on July 13.
Freight operations are also likely to be hit, with 17 to 18 goods trains impacted. Passengers are urged to check schedules in advance and follow official railway updates.
