Incident aboard domestic flight triggers mixed reactions from netizens
A recent incident aboard a SpiceJet flight has gone viral after passengers were seen angrily demanding the air-conditioning be turned on before takeoff. A video posted by Instagram user @shoaiblala7777nimbahera captured the heated exchange, showing visibly distressed passengers urging the crew to switch on the AC due to soaring temperatures inside the cabin.
Some passengers appeared increasingly agitated, with a few even calling for the flight to be stopped, citing the risk of health issues. The video shows growing tension as crew members tried to manage the situation.
Online, reactions were mixed. While many sympathized with the passengers’ discomfort, others criticized their tone and treatment of the crew.
One user commented, “It’s disappointing to see how some people forget basic manners while flying. Treating flight attendants with disrespect clearly shows a lack of civic sense.”
Another wrote in support of the protesting passengers: “Awaaz uthani zaroori thi aur dono ne uthai. Good job,” suggesting that speaking up was necessary.
