Pune, July 19, 2025: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has expanded its popular tourist bus initiative by launching Route No. 11 on Friday morning. Three eco-friendly, air-conditioned electric buses were flagged off from Swargate bus stand by PMPML Chairperson and Managing Director Deepa Mudhol-Munde at 8:30 am, in the presence of senior officials and staff.

The new service received an overwhelming response on its inaugural run, with 99 passengers onboard, including a significant number of women travelers. “This initiative continues to get an excellent response, especially from women. I encourage more citizens to use this safe, affordable, and eco-conscious travel option,” Mudhol-Munde said during the launch.

Route No. 11 covers: Swargate – Deccan Gymkhana – Ekvira Devi Temple – Karla Caves – Lonavala Railway Station (tourists can visit nearby attractions like Bhushi Dam, Manashakti Dhyan Kendra, and Wax Museum at their own expense) – and returns to Swargate.
