President of India
As the highest constitutional authority and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the President of India draws a salary of ₹5 lakh per month. This was revised from ₹1.5 lakh in 2018. The President is exempt from paying income tax and receives extensive perks, including:

• Free worldwide travel (air and train)
• Medical care
• Annual office expense allowance of ₹1 lakh

Upon retirement, the President is entitled to a pension of ₹1.5 lakh per month, rent-free accommodation, travel with a companion, and staff support.

Vice President of India
