Pune: Citizens Urged To Use Revenue Department’s Online Services For Faster, Transparent Access
Indapur, July 26, 2025: Citizens should make maximum use of the digital and online services provided by the Revenue Department to reduce crowding at offices and ensure more transparent and efficient functioning, appealed Additional District Collector Suhas Mapari.
On Thursday (July 24), Additional District Collector Mapari and Deputy Collector Namdev Tilekar conducted a review of the Revenue Department’s operations in Indapur taluka. During the meeting, they closely examined the implementation of various digital systems such as e-Hakk, e-Ferfar, e-Chawdi, e-Record, e-Court (e-QS Court), and e-Office.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Jeevan Bansode, Deputy Tehsildars, Circle Officers, Village Revenue Officers, office staff, Revenue Assistants, and operators of Maha e-Seva Kendras. Officials shared that over 5,510 entries have been made on the e-Hakk portal in Indapur taluka, showing a significant rise in the use of online services by citizens.
As a result, the need for physical visits to offices has decreased, saving time, ensuring accuracy in documents, and improving transparency.
Benefits of using e-Services:
- Access to services from home
- Savings in time, money, and effort
- Accurate recordkeeping and documentation
- Reduced corruption
- Streamlined service delivery
