Pune: Amanora School Celebrates Student Leadership And Academic Achievements At Investiture and Felicitation Ceremony

Pune, July 26, 2025: The 26th of July was a landmark occasion at Amanora School, as it hosted the Investiture Ceremony and the Felicitation of Academic Excellence for Grades XII and X, along with the ASE Award Ceremony for Grade IX students at The Ferns, Amanora Park Town.

The event was graced by the presence of two eminent personalities—Colonel Amitava Kundu, a distinguished officer known for his discipline, creativity, and remarkable journey of service, and J.K. Bhosale, Chief Operations Officer, City Corporation Limited.

The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt welcome extended to the honoured guests, dignitaries, parents, teachers, and students. It was followed by the school prayer, the Maharashtra State song, and the ceremonial lighting of the traditional lamp—an auspicious start that set the tone for the event.

A highlight of the ceremony was the conferring of leadership roles to the newly elected student council. Colonel Kundu and Director-Principal Meera Ma’am presented badges to the new cabinet members, entrusting them with responsibility and honour.

• Adishree Dubey was appointed Senior School Captain, with Aarya Kulkarni as Vice-Captain.
• In the Junior School, Prithviraj Nair and Adwik Dubey took on the roles of Captain and Vice-Captain respectively.

In total, 35 dynamic leaders were inducted into various portfolios, ready to uphold the ethos of the school.

The student leaders marched forward in a graceful slow march, accepted their badges of office and the School Flag.

The symbolic handover of the school flag marked the seamless transition of leadership—one that represents continuity, commitment, and unity. The oath-taking ceremony, officiated by Director-Principal Meera Ma’am, witnessed the student leaders pledge to serve with integrity and uphold the values of Amanora School. The moment was further elevated by an inspiring speech delivered by Adishree Dubey, reflecting clarity of purpose, leadership, and dedication.

The event also featured the School Song, followed by the Maharashtra State Song and the National Anthem, setting a tone of unity and pride.

Following the Investiture Ceremony, the spotlight shifted to the Academic Felicitation segment. Outstanding performers of Grades XII and X were honoured for their excellence in the CBSE board examinations. Colonel Kundu and Mr. Bhosale personally presented the awards, applauding the students’ perseverance, discipline, and pursuit of excellence.

The event continued with the Award for Student Excellence (ASE) for Grade IX students, recognising subject toppers and well-rounded achievers. Certificates of Excellence were awarded to these promising young minds, encouraging them to continue their academic journey with the same zeal and commitment.

The ceremony concluded on a high note with a soul-stirring performance by the school choir, leaving the audience inspired and proud.
