Pune: Youth Gang Linked To Series Of Bike Thefts Across City
A group of young individuals, including two juveniles, has been found responsible for a string of motorcycle thefts reported across several parts of Pune.
Police investigations have connected the gang to at least 11 cases registered at police stations in Hadapsar, Mundhwa, Bund Garden, Viman Nagar, Vishrambag, and Dehu Road.
According to police officials, all the suspects are aged between 19 and 20, and were acting together as a tightly-knit group of friends.
Surprisingly, their motive was not financial gain — they reportedly stole the bikes simply for thrill and entertainment.
The police have detained the individuals and are continuing to probe the extent of their involvement in other unsolved theft cases in the city.
