Pune/Mumbai, August 3, 2025: The Pawar family is once again in the spotlight, this time for a celebration. Yugendra Pawar, the grandnephew of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) founder Sharad Pawar and son of Shrinivas Pawar, recently got engaged to Tanishka Kulkarni, a finance graduate based in Mumbai.
The intimate engagement ceremony took place on Sunday at the Indiabulls Building in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. The event saw close family members in attendance and was kept low-key. Tanishka was seen proudly flaunting her engagement ring in the few photos that surfaced online.
Supriya Sule, Member of Parliament and Yugendra’s aunt, took to Instagram to share the joyous news. “Overjoyed to share the happiest news — my nephew Yugen is engaged to the lovely Tanishka! Wishing them a lifetime of love, laughter, and togetherness. So happy to welcome Tanishka into the family!” she posted, along with a few candid pictures of the couple.
This engagement comes close on the heels of another family celebration—the engagement of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s son, Jay Pawar. Interestingly, Yugendra had contested the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections from Baramati against Ajit Pawar but lost the battle.
