Fastag Annual Pass Introduced At Four Toll Plazas In Pune District
Pune, August 20, 2025 – The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced the launch of the Fastag Annual Pass at four toll plazas in Pune district—Khed Shivapur, Patas, Sardewadi, and Chalakkwadi. The scheme, which came into effect on August 15, is designed exclusively for non-commercial vehicles such as cars, jeeps, and vans.
According to the NHAI Project Director, Pune, the annual toll (Fastag) pass will be valid for one year or 200 single trips, whichever is earlier. The pass will cost ₹3,000 and will be applicable only on toll plazas located along national highways and expressways.
The initiative aims to ease the financial burden on daily commuters while ensuring smoother passage through toll plazas. To avail the annual pass, vehicle owners can apply via the ‘Rajmarg Yatra’ mobile app or through the official NHAI website. The facility is also available for renewal through the same platforms. For additional assistance, citizens can contact the NHAI helpline at 1033.
The Fastag Annual Pass is a prepaid system created for private vehicles, offering an economical alternative for regular travelers. By streamlining toll payments, the scheme is expected to benefit thousands of commuters who frequently travel on Pune’s national highways.
