Pune, August 22, 2025: Pune’s Keshav Nagar has become the latest flashpoint for civic criticism as residents and political parties express frustration over worsening traffic congestion and inadequate infrastructure.

Highlighting the issue, Shiv Sena (UBT) recently put up a banner renaming the locality “Traffic Nagar.” The party accused the administration and local representatives of neglecting the area’s development and “destroying” its civic amenities. The banner boldly stated, “Welcome To Traffic Nagar.”

Adding to the public outcry, social media users have shared images and posts showcasing the area’s problems. One user posted photos of a dilapidated bus stop near Vertical Oriana, calling for urgent repairs, better flooring, and drainage solutions to prevent waterlogging.
