Balancing two artistic crafts with grace is no easy feat, but Aneet Padda is proving she’s equally at home on a film set and behind a guitar. Known for her compelling screen presence in the blockbuster romantic drama Saiyaara, Aneet has now shown that her talents extend beyond acting. With a voice as mellifluous as her performances are powerful, the young star has left fans mesmerized once again — this time with a soulful musical moment shared with her father.

On Sunday, Aneet Padda posted a heartwarming video on her Instagram account. Seated on the floor with a guitar in hand, she begins strumming and singing the title track of Saiyaara, the very film that catapulted her to fame. Her father, Navdeep Padda, soon joins in from the couch behind her, turning the solo into a tender father-daughter duet. Alongside the video, Aneet humbly wrote, “The singing may be rusty, but the love isn’t ~”

The performance struck a chord with fans, who were quick to shower her with praise, not just for her acting but also for her unexpectedly beautiful vocals. One viewer shared, “You’ve got the looks, the acting and now even the voice. Powerhouse of talent.” Another admirer pointed out, “Babe, you’ve got the looks, an angelic voice and insane acting skills. WOW.”

Appreciation continued to pour in from all corners. A third fan marveled at her musical flair, saying, “Even her voice is good Loved this.” One more added, “Aneet’s voice when she was humming. Bhai sahab, she is multi-talented.” And a particularly excited viewer imagined a dream collaboration, commenting, “Guys let’s manifest that we get Saiyaara song in Ahaan x Aneet version.” Another cheeky user wrote, “So we had the wrong guy as Krish Kapoor this whole time.”

This isn’t the first time Aneet has offered glimpses of her musical side. A previously unseen video from the sets of Saiyaara had gone viral earlier, showing her casually humming “Kaise Hua” from Kabir Singh between takes. In yet another clip, she recreated Shreya Ghoshal’s version of the Saiyaara title track with striking clarity and control — further proving her versatility.

Aneet began her career with a brief role in the 2022 emotional drama Salaam Venky opposite Kajol. However, her first major breakthrough came with the Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry, where she played the role of Roohi. Remarkably, she not only acted in the series but also contributed as a singer and composer, creating an original track titled Masoom.

Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara features Aaneet opposite debutant Ahaan Panday. What began as a quiet release soon exploded into a box office phenomenon. Released on July 18, the romantic drama resonated deeply with audiences and critics alike. With heartfelt performances, a compelling storyline, and chart-topping music, Saiyaara earned an impressive ₹553 crore worldwide on a modest ₹50 crore budget, making it the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema to date.

The film also boasts a strong supporting cast including Alam Khan, Varun Badola, Rajesh Kumar, and Geeta Aggarwal Sharma. But it was the chemistry between Aneet and Ahaan that truly stole the spotlight, making them household names and overnight sensations.

The title song of Saiyaara, originally composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, and Arslan Nizami with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, has become a cultural touchstone. While the male version is sung by Faheem Abdullah, the female rendition is voiced by the legendary Shreya Ghoshal.

With her raw, heartfelt rendition of the track alongside her father, Aneet Padda has only further cemented her place in fans’ hearts — not just as an actor, but as a truly multi-talented artist with a bright future ahead.
