Known for her compelling screen presence in the blockbuster romantic drama Saiyaara, Aneet has now shown that her talents extend beyond acting. On Sunday, Aneet Padda posted a heartwarming video on her Instagram account. Seated on the floor with a guitar in hand, she begins strumming and singing the title track of Saiyaara, the very film that catapulted her to fame. Her father, Navdeep Padda, soon joins in from the couch behind her, turning the solo into a tender father-daughter duet. Alongside the video, Aneet humbly wrote, “The singing may be rusty, but the love isn’t ~”
The performance struck a chord with fans, who were quick to shower her with praise, not just for her acting but also for her unexpectedly beautiful vocals. One viewer shared, “You’ve got the looks, the acting and now even the voice. Aneet began her career with a brief role in the 2022 emotional drama Salaam Venky opposite Kajol. However, her first major breakthrough came with the Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry, where she played the role of Roohi. Remarkably, she not only acted in the series but also contributed as a singer and composer, creating an original track titled Masoom.
Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara features Aaneet opposite debutant Ahaan Panday. What began as a quiet release soon exploded into a box office phenomenon. Released on July 18, the romantic drama resonated deeply with audiences and critics alike.
