Reason Behind the Weather Activity

IMD attributes the spell to a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal, intensifying monsoon currents across Maharashtra.

Advisory for Farmers & Citizens

  • Farmers should carry out timely pesticide and fungicide sprays to prevent crop damage.
  • Precautions must be taken to avoid waterlogging in fields.

With Ganeshotsav 2025 around the corner, the IMD has appealed for caution in outdoor celebrations and transportation planning.
