Watch: Chaos on Seemanchal Express as Woman Without Ticket Clashes With TTE, Video Goes Viral
Passenger evades police after hours-long drama; Railways promises action
A dramatic scene unfolded on the Seemanchal Express during its journey from Delhi to Bihar when a woman, allegedly travelling without a ticket in the 2nd AC coach, created chaos after refusing to cooperate with railway staff.
The trouble began when the Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) asked the woman to produce her ticket. Instead of complying, she engaged in heated arguments, gave evasive replies, and hurled accusations of misbehaviour at railway staff. Eyewitnesses said she even assaulted the TTE during the altercation.
Videos of the incident, now viral on social media, show the woman repeatedly deflecting questions and responding rudely. At one point, she claimed to be linked with judicial work, allegedly to intimidate officials. Fellow passengers, however, sided with the TTE, with one person remarking, “Don’t misuse women’s rights to say anything to anyone.”
