Pune: PMRDA Launches 19 Online Services For Citizens
Pimpri, September 20, 2025: To ensure citizens within the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) jurisdiction receive services easily and within stipulated timeframes, 19 services have been made available online under the Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act. With this initiative, people can now access government services from home, reducing the need for physical visits. Within the next week, 10 more services will be added, making a total of 29 services available online through PMRDA.
The Act was introduced to deliver notified government services transparently, promptly, and within a fixed timeframe. As part of the government’s ambitious 150-day program, directives were issued to provide essential services online. PMRDA has therefore enabled 19 services for public benefit. Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase appealed to citizens to make use of these facilities.
Through the new system, applicants will receive an SMS confirmation on their registered mobile numbers upon application submission. Citizens can also track which officer is handling their application without visiting the office.
