The young man shared that after four months of unemployment and facing several rejections, he finally secured a DevOps position at a small startup with around 80 employees. Initially relieved, he soon decided to move on when he received an offer from one of the UK’s top multinational banks.
“I find it strange that I gave my notice in just nine days, but considering the struggles I faced during my unemployment, I don’t want to miss this opportunity. To be honest, I’m tired now. I’ve given at least 30 interviews. Now I need peace of mind, and this job can give me that,” he wrote in his post, adding that he plans to stay at the new company for at least one and a half to two years.
