Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan and his wife Sshura Khan are set to welcome their first child together. Sshura was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai, on October 4, sparking excitement within the Khan family. Videos from outside the hospital showed the couple arriving at the medical facility as they prepared for the joyous occasion.
The news comes just weeks after the Khans hosted an elaborate baby shower, which was attended by family and close friends. Salman Khan, currently busy with Bigg Boss 19 and filming Battle of Galwan, made a special appearance at the event, arriving with a heavy security entourage.
At the baby shower, Arbaaz and Sshura coordinated in matching yellow outfits. The glowing mom-to-be wore a flowing gown, while Arbaaz opted for a yellow shirt and white trousers. Clips from the celebration quickly went viral on social media.
Arbaaz had confirmed the pregnancy in June this year. “Yes, it’s accurate. I’m not denying it since it’s already known. My family is aware, and now it’s public information. This is a very thrilling time for us both. We’re delighted and eager for this new chapter,” he said.
This will be the first child for Arbaaz and Sshura, who got married in a private ceremony in December 2023. Arbaaz was earlier married to Malaika Arora, with whom he shares a 22-year-old son, Arhaan. The former couple parted ways in 2017 after 19 years of marriage but continue to co-parent amicably.
