Tanmay Bhat tops the list as India’s richest YouTuber, highlighting the explosive growth of the country’s creator economy.
India’s booming digital landscape has given rise to a new breed of millionaires — YouTubers who have turned their creativity into thriving businesses. According to Tech Informer, based on data from MyJar Blog, comedian Tanmay Bhat has emerged as India’s richest YouTuber, with an estimated net worth of ₹665 crore.
The list underscores the rapid professionalisation and economic power of the Indian creator ecosystem, where content across comedy, tech, lifestyle, and education has evolved into multi-crore enterprises.
Following Tanmay Bhat, Gaurav Chaudhary (Technical Guruji) ranks second with a net worth of ₹356 crore, known for his highly popular tech reviews and international brand collaborations. Samay Raina, the comedian and chess streamer, holds the third position with ₹140 crore, while CarryMinati (Ajey Nagar) — one of India’s most followed creators — ranks fourth with ₹131 crore.
Completing the top five is Bhuvan Bam (BB Ki Vines), with a net worth of ₹122 crore. Other top names include Amit Bhadana (₹80 crore), Triggered Insaan (₹65 crore), Dhruv Rathee (₹60 crore), Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps, ₹58 crore), and Sourav Joshi (₹50 crore).
Analysts note that YouTubers are no longer just entertainers — they are entrepreneurs building diversified revenue streams through brand deals, live events, ad revenue, podcasts, and merchandise.
An EY report projects that India’s digital influencer market will surpass ₹3,000 crore by 2026, driven by the country’s massive youth audience and expanding internet reach.
With creators now commanding wealth comparable to mainstream film and TV celebrities, India’s creator economy is firmly establishing itself as a cornerstone of the new digital era.
