Pune: Kumar Sansar Society In Kondhwa Powers Ahead With 60 kW Solar Installation, Sets Green Benchmark In Parge Nagar
Pune, October 6, 2025: In a remarkable step toward sustainability, Kumar Sansar Society consisting of 108 flats, located in Parge Nagar, Kondhwa, has become a frontrunner in promoting clean and renewable energy through its ambitious Green Power Initiative. The society, which had earlier installed a 20 kW solar power project in early 2022, has now expanded its capacity by an additional 40 kW, bringing the total to nearly 60 kW of solar energy.
This initiative positions Kumar Sansar Society as one of the first residential complexes in the Parge Nagar area to adopt such a large-scale renewable energy solution. The expanded system is designed to significantly reduce electricity costs for common areas while also minimizing the carbon footprint, aligning with the broader goal of promoting an environmentally conscious community.

Speaking about the project, Chairman Navid Moulvi said, “We began our solar journey with a 20 kW project, and seeing its success and efficiency, we decided to scale it up by adding another 40 kW. Today, we’re proud to generate nearly 60 kW of clean energy that benefits both residents and the environment.”
The project has received appreciation from local authorities and community members alike, including Police Inspector Varsha Deshmukh from the Crime Branch, Kondhwa Police Station, who commended the society’s leadership for setting an example in sustainable living. Deshmukh also inaugurated the project.

The society’s management committee has also encouraged neighboring housing complexes to consider adopting similar eco-friendly measures. With its forward-thinking approach and community-driven vision, Kumar Sansar Society continues to shine as a model of urban sustainability and responsible energy use in Pune’s rapidly growing Kondhwa region.
