Maharashtra Weather Update, October 13: Dry Conditions Prevail Across State, Daytime Heat Intensifies in Some Districts
Pune, October 12, 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dry weather conditions across Maharashtra on October 13, with no rainfall expected in any region. However, a noticeable rise in maximum temperatures has been observed in several districts, bringing back heat during daytime hours.
According to the IMD, Solapur, Chandrapur, and Amravati recorded temperatures as high as 34°C, while other parts of the state are also witnessing warmer days and cooler nights.
In the Konkan region, including Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg, dry weather is expected to persist. Mumbai’s maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34°C, with a minimum of 22°C.
In Western Maharashtra, districts such as Pune, Solapur, Kolhapur, Satara, and Sangli are also expected to remain dry. Pune is likely to record a maximum of 31°C and a minimum of 19°C.
Across Marathwada, including Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Parbhani, Beed, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur, and Dharashiv, dry weather will prevail. Sambhajinagar is expected to witness temperatures between 18°C and 33°C.
In North Maharashtra, districts like Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Nashik, and Ahilyanagar are likely to remain rain-free. Nashik may experience mild chill at night, with a maximum of 33°C and a minimum of 16°C.
The Vidarbha region, including Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal, will continue to experience dry weather. Nagpur is expected to record a maximum temperature of 31°C and a minimum of 20°C.
Overall, Maharashtra is set to witness dry and warm afternoons along with slightly cooler nights on October 13. Meteorologists have advised residents to stay hydrated and take precautions against sudden temperature fluctuations.
