Pune: Robin Hood Army, Wanowrie: Inspiring Young Minds Through Community-Driven Education
Pune, October 15, 2025: The Robin Hood Academy – Wanowrie Chapter, initiated and coordinated by Aryamba S.N., an Author/ Editor, is quietly transforming lives through education. A part of The Robin Hood Army — a volunteer-driven movement known for redistributing surplus food — the Academy extends the same spirit of service to education, helping underprivileged children learn, grow, and dream.
The team conducts regular weekend sessions that go beyond classroom learning. Volunteers from diverse backgrounds — professionals, homemakers, and students — come together to teach subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, Civic Sense, Behavioural Learning, and Arts & Crafts. The focus is on making learning joyful and meaningful, while instilling values and confidence in every child.
“Education is the most sustainable form of empowerment. Even one hour a week can change a child’s future,” says Aryamba, who has been leading the initiative with passion and commitment.
The Academy also emphasizes creativity and awareness — celebrating festivals, national days, and organizing storytelling, art, and hygiene sessions to build confidence and holistic growth.
With steady volunteer participation, the Wanowrie chapter has become a model of community engagement and kindness. The Robins invite Pune residents to be part of this movement — not just to teach, but to inspire.
Those interested in volunteering can connect through the Robin Hood Army Pune network and join the mission to bring education to every child who needs it.
