Earn ₹1,000 FASTag Recharge in NHAI’s ‘Clean Toilet Picture Challenge’
Highway travellers can win a FASTag reward by reporting unclean toilets via the RajmargYatra app before October 31.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has launched a unique cleanliness initiative called the ‘Clean Toilet Picture Challenge’ under its Special Campaign 5.0.
Travellers who report dirty toilets at NHAI-managed toll plazas can earn a ₹1,000 FASTag recharge.
To participate, users must install or update to the latest version of the RajmargYatra app. While travelling, if they find an unclean toilet, they can take a clear, geo-tagged, time-stamped photo and upload it on the app. Participants must also enter their name, location, vehicle registration number (VRN), and mobile number.

Each valid entry will earn ₹1,000 as a FASTag recharge linked to the same VRN. The reward cannot be withdrawn as cash and will only be credited to the registered FASTag account.
Only toilets constructed, operated, or maintained by NHAI are eligible under this scheme. Toilets at fuel stations, roadside restaurants, or private facilities do not qualify. Additionally, each facility can only be rewarded once per day, and in cases of multiple reports, only the first valid submission will receive the prize.
The initiative aims to encourage citizen participation in maintaining hygiene and accountability across India’s highways. The reward scheme remains open until October 31.
