Pune: PCMC Invites Applications for UPSC Aspirants at Savitribai Phule Academy in Wakad
Pimpri, December 13, 2025:
The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), through its Sports Department, has started the Savitribai Phule Academy at I Trend Life–3, Kala Khadak, Wakad, for interested students. At present, a few seats are vacant at the academy, and applications are being invited to fill these positions.
Graduates residing within the PCMC limits who are preparing for the UPSC examination are eligible to apply. This includes candidates who appeared for the entrance examination conducted by SIAC but were not selected in the final list, as well as those who did not appear for the entrance examination. Applicants must be graduates.
Interested students must submit an application on plain paper addressed to the Director, Savitribai Phule Academy. The application must be accompanied by photocopies of the SSC (Class 10) marksheet and the graduation certificate. For proof of residence, any one of the following documents must be submitted: Aadhaar card, voter ID card, passport, electricity bill in the name of parents, ration card, driving licence, or property tax receipt in the name of parents. Admission will be given on priority based on marks obtained in the SSC examination, according to the academy authorities.
The last date for submission of applications is December 18. Applications can be emailed up to 12.00 midnight on December 18 to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]). Applications may also be submitted in person at the Sports Department, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Office, Kharalwadi, until 6.00 pm on December 18. Office hours are from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, excluding weekly holidays. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
