Pune Tragedy: Kondhwa Couple Found Dead at Home, Post-Mortem to Reveal Cause of Death
Kondhwa in Pune was shaken by a tragic incident after a local couple was discovered dead inside their home in the Shraddha Nagar area. The police have registered the case as a sudden death, and authorities are awaiting the post-mortem reports to determine the exact cause. The deceased have been identified as Prakash Munde, 52, and his wife Dnyaneshwari Munde, 48, who had been residing in a chawl in Shraddha Nagar.
According to information gathered, the couple’s son, Ganesh Munde, 23, is employed with a private company. On Friday morning, January 9th, he returned home after completing a night shift, only to find the house door locked. Despite knocking and calling out, there was no response from inside. Concerned, Ganesh alerted the neighbours, who helped him gain entry. Inside the house, the couple was found lying unconscious. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, both were declared dead before any treatment could be administered.
It was revealed that Dnyaneshwari had been battling a brain tumor for the past year. Her husband, Prakash, worked as a driver to support the family. The police conducted a thorough inspection of the scene and carried out post-mortem examinations on both bodies. Senior Police Inspector Amar Kalange of Yevalewadi Police Station confirmed that a sudden death case has been registered. The post-mortem reports are expected to provide clarity on the exact cause of their deaths.
The incident has left the Shraddha Nagar community in shock and mourning. Authorities are investigating carefully to determine whether Dnyaneshwari’s prolonged illness led to this unfortunate outcome, or if there were other factors contributing to the couple’s deaths. The police have emphasized that the investigation will consider all possibilities before reaching a conclusion.
