Pune: Door-to-door campaigning for the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections concluded on a high note in Ward 4, with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidates backed by Ajit Pawar receiving an enthusiastic response from voters.

Residents across the ward extended warm support to NCP candidates Nanasaheb Abanave, Vasundhara Ubale, Darshana Pathare, and Sameer Bhadale, signalling a strong public mood in favour of change. The outreach covered housing societies, slum pockets, and commercial areas, where citizens openly voiced their expectations for improved civic governance.

Voters repeatedly highlighted that despite nearly 25 years of the same leadership, several basic civic issues continue to remain unresolved. These include irregular water supply, poor road conditions, traffic congestion, sanitation concerns, and delays in PMC-related services.

Addressing these long-standing problems, the NCP candidates presented a structured and accountable governance roadmap. Their key assurances include the launch of a 24×7 citizen helpline, timely and efficient delivery of PMC services, SLA-based monitoring of complaints, monthly transparency and progress reports, and a focused 100-day action plan aimed at improving overall livability in Ward 4.

Residents appreciated the candidates’ accessibility, clarity of vision, and emphasis on transparent and responsive administration. Political observers believe the strong public response reflects a growing demand for leadership that listens to citizens and delivers measurable results.

As Ward 4 moves closer to polling day, voters are being urged to support Nanasaheb Abanave, Vasundhara Ubale, Darshana Pathare, and Sameer Bhadale, who are positioning themselves as proponents of change, accountability, and sustainable development.
