Pune, June 25, 2026: Praveen Goyal, father of Siya Goyal one of the key accused in the Ketan Agrawal murder case has been admitted to a private hospital in Pune after reportedly suffering a heart attack. He was rushed to Ruby Hall Clinic after experiencing severe chest pain and is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

According to family members, the medical emergency may have been triggered by the emotional and mental stress surrounding the ongoing investigation into the high-profile murder case. Hospital authorities are closely monitoring his condition, while additional security measures have reportedly been put in place around the ICU area.

Meanwhile, the investigation into Ketan Agrawal’s death has gathered momentum with police questioning another individual believed to have links to the accused. Investigators are examining the possible involvement of Neeraj Chaudhary, an associate of co-accused Chetan Chaudhary, as they continue to piece together the events leading up to the incident.

Police suspect that Chetan may have used Neeraj’s mobile phone during the trek to Lohagad Fort on June 18, the day Ketan was allegedly murdered. Investigators believe the device may have been used to maintain communication between the accused while avoiding detection.

Ketan’s death was initially considered an accidental fall, but subsequent findings led police to register a murder case. Investigators are now scrutinising call records, digital evidence, and CCTV footage collected from multiple locations. Officials believe the evidence could help establish the sequence of events and determine whether the crime was premeditated.

The probe remains ongoing, and police are expected to question additional individuals as they continue to uncover details surrounding the case.
