Ketan Agrawal Murder Case Takes New Turn; Police Question Siya Goyal’s Brother Sahil Over Alleged Conspiracy
Pune, June 27, 2026: The investigation into the murder of Ketan Agrawal at Lohagad Fort has taken a fresh turn, with police questioning Sahil Goyal, the brother of prime accused Siya Goyal, over his alleged knowledge of the conspiracy.
The development comes after Ketan’s father, Vishal Agrawal, claimed that Sahil may have been aware of the alleged murder plot. According to him, Sahil was a close friend of co-accused Chetan Chaudhary, raising suspicions that the conspiracy may have involved more people than just Siya and Chetan. Based on these claims, police have summoned Sahil for questioning and recorded his statement as part of the ongoing investigation.
Meanwhile, Vishal Agrawal met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and urged the government to ensure strict punishment for all those involved in the case. He also requested the appointment of senior advocate Ujjwal Nikam as the Special Public Prosecutor. The state government has reportedly responded positively to the request.
Responding to reports that Siya had allegedly told investigators she disliked Ketan because he wore a hair patch (wig), Vishal Agrawal dismissed the claim as baseless. He said Siya and her family had been informed about Ketan’s use of a hair patch well before the marriage was arranged, making it impossible for that to have been the motive behind the alleged murder.
Ketan Agrawal was allegedly pushed to his death from Lohagad Fort on June 18. His fiancée, Siya Goyal, and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, have been arrested in connection with the case. Police are continuing their investigation, with the scope of the probe now expanding to examine the possible involvement of additional individuals.
