Over 67,000 Students Register for Maharashtra CET CAP Admissions; Three-Year LL.B Draws Highest Applications
Pune, June 30, 2026: More than 67,000 students have registered for the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell’s Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for admissions to six higher education programmes for the 2026-27 academic year. The registration deadline for the three-year LL.B, Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) and Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) programmes ends on June 30.
According to the CET Cell, a total of 67,652 candidates have registered for admissions to B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed, three-year LL.B, five-year LL.B, M.Ed and the three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed programme. The admission schedule for the remaining CAP courses is expected to be announced separately.

Among all the programmes, the three-year LL.B has attracted the highest number of applicants, with 45,158 registrations from 69,473 CET-qualified candidates. The five-year LL.B programme has recorded 15,602 registrations against 29,288 eligible candidates, with the registration window remaining open until July 9.
In the physical education category, 3,453 of the 4,965 CET-qualified candidates have registered for the B.P.Ed programme, while 1,455 of the 2,134 eligible candidates have applied for M.P.Ed admissions. Registration for these courses closes on June 30.
Meanwhile, the registration process for the M.Ed and the three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed programmes, which began on June 16, will continue until July 6. So far, 1,653 of the 3,451 eligible candidates have registered for M.Ed, while the integrated B.Ed-M.Ed programme has received 331 applications from 797 CET-qualified candidates.
The CET Cell has advised eligible candidates to complete the registration process within the prescribed deadlines and stated that the detailed admission schedule for other CAP courses will be announced in due course.
