Pune, July 9: Passengers travelling between Mumbai and Pune on Friday, July 10, are advised to check their train schedules before leaving, as the Railways has cancelled several key services on the route following disruptions caused by a landslide.

Rail traffic on the busy Mumbai–Pune corridor has remained affected for nearly a week after a landslide disrupted operations. In view of the continuing impact, railway authorities have announced the cancellation of several major trains, causing inconvenience to thousands of daily commuters and long-distance passengers.

Among the cancelled services is the popular Deccan Queen, one of the most preferred trains on the Mumbai–Pune route. The Pune–Mumbai Intercity Express and Deccan Express have also been cancelled for July 10. Corresponding services operating from Mumbai to Pune have likewise been withdrawn, affecting travel in both directions.

The Sainagar Shirdi–Dadar Express has also been removed from Friday’s schedule.

Railway officials have urged passengers to revise their travel plans and verify the latest train status through the official railway website or mobile app before commencing their journey.

The cancellations are expected to significantly impact office commuters, business travellers, and tourists, while increasing pressure on bus services operating between Mumbai and Pune.
