PCMC mayor Usha Dhore demands more plasma machines in YCM hospital
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Mayor Usha Dhore has written a letter to the Commissioner Shravan Hardikar urging to provide more plasma machines to the Yashwant rao Chavan Memorial Hospital.
In her letter she has written that there have been rise in the cases of Covid19 positive patients. In critical cases patients are in need of plasma.
Since it has been working in many cases, people have been queuing up at the YCM hospital for plasma donation. But since only one machine is available patients as who want to donate plasma and the one who are requiring it have to wait for a long time. In such case, PCMC should provide multiple machines so that patients life can be saved.
She further said it is important to take this step so that patients can benefit from the plasma therapy.
