Citizens are not allowed to burst fire crackers in public spaces such as gardens, sports ground, tourist places, schools, etc. Social Distancing should be observed and washing hands with soap and water must be thoroughly practised. Also, use of sanitiser must be avoided by bursting crackers and lighting lamps as sanitiser is inflammable.

Also, no public gatherings are allowed this year throughout the festive period. Programmes such as Diwali pahat should be strictly held online.

Citizens not abiding by the rules shall be punished under the relevant sections of Epidemic Control Act and Disaster Management Act 2005 Section 51-60. and IPC Section 188. These advisories shall remain in action till further notice. The advisory was released on November 10, 2020.
