PMC allows swimming pools to open
PCMC To Hold 'Safety Audit' Of Swimming Pools In City
Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vikram Kumar on November 19, 2020 issued an order stating that swimming pools outside containment zones shall be allowed to remain open for state level, national and international level swimmers for their regular practice.
The swimming pools shall follow all the standard operating procedures as issued by the ministry of youth affairs and sports.
Those violating the norms shall face strict action under the Disaster management act 2005 and IPC section 188.
