As the country braces for the COVID vaccine, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) will be initiating a nation wide dry run of COVID Vaccination, from 2nd January 2021, which will be carried out with a mock drill without injecting the vaccine to check its preparedness before rolling out the vaccine in Public.

In Maharashtra, Pune, Nagpur, Jalna, Nandurvar, are the four districts identified for the dry run. The Jija Mata Hospital in Bhosari is one of the identified hospitals for the mock drill. The hospital has been inspected by PCMC additional health chief, Pavan Salve, Health official, Varsha Dange and Commissioner Shravan Hardikar.

As reported, the mock drill is mainly initiated to gain the idea of electricity, internet, waiting room and crowd management in the vaccination ward. It can be understood that the vaccination is just a few days away from bringing it into action.
