NIBM annexe to get new Police chowky; informs MLA Chetan Tupe

Anandvan Parisar Residents Forum, NIBM Annexe, Pune held a program to felicitate Hadapsar constituency MLA Chetan Tupe Patil today on January 10,2021.

The program was held at the banquet hall of Raheja Vista Premier T5, T6 building which saw presence of local corporators from Prabhag 26, Nanda Lonkar, Prachi Alhat, ex Corporator NIBM Tanaji Lonkar. The residents submitted a memorandum urging Chetan Tupe Patil to resolve the issues of the residents.

Issues raised by the forum :
- Supply of PMC water is needed. Need of proper drainage and sewage line
- Decreasing the gradient of road near Anandvan forest area Need of Police station
- Public Amenities for the citizens
- Streetlights on the entire stretch from Anandvan to Raheja Vista Premier and Pristine Viva to Dorabjee Mall
- Tree plantation needed in the area to bring the green glory
- Menace of stray dogs should be resolved.
Nanda Lonkar, local Corporator said, “The residents had informed me about the problem faced by them due tk gradient near Anandvan.” She assured to reduce the height of the road and stated that a provision of one crore budget has been made by her.

Prachi Alhat, Corporator Prabhag 26 said, “Corporators are a link between the citizens and Pune Municipal Corporation. I am happy to see the huge attendance of the residents representing 16 societies from the neighborhood. Citizens should keep interacting with Corporators.”
Chetan Tupe, Hadapsar MLA, in his speech said, “There are eight demands and one of them is having a police station in the nearby areas. And I am happy a new police station would come up here and a police chowky would be created here. Also when the residents came to seek my appointment I insisted them to call four Corporators of the area to be called for the meeting. It was my idea to have all party Corporators from Prabhag 26 on one platform. This will help in resolving issues faster. I shall raise the issue of the gradient near Anandvan with our Shirur Constituency Member of Parliament Dr Amol Kolhe for speeding up the process of acquisition of the land required for road widening and then reduce the gradient. Also, all the points mentioned in the letter shall be resolved shortly.”

Tanaji Lonkar, vice president, Shiv Sena Pune city said that the residents need to sustain this togetherness and only that can help the residents. The meeting saw attendance of over 150 people from neighborhood societies.
The meeting was organised by the members of Anandvan Parisar Residents Forum, a platform created by 19 societies from the neighborhood.
