MPs of Pune, Solapur division meet Central Railway officials - Pune Pulse
Pune, Oct 16 : Members of Parliament of Pune and Solapur areas held a meeting with the general manager of Central Railway Naresh Lalwani and principal heads of various departments, along with Divisional Railway manager of Pune and Solapur divisions, at the Divisional Railway manager (DRM) office at Pune and discussed on various issues on Sunday.
A total of nine MPs were present at the meeting.
The MPs held detailed discussions with the Railway officials on various railway projects, ongoing and completed developmental works and railway-related issues pertaining to various passenger facilities.
In this meeting, various topics like railway track doubling, train halts, platform expansion, electrification of new trains, facilities for passengers at stations, escalators, lifts, new foot over bridges, LED lights, UTS mobile app ticket system, beautification of stations were discussed in detail.
More than 300 issues were discussed in the meeting, said a press release here.
