Residents of the state capital of Uttar Pradesh in India have reason to rejoice as the Indian Railways has announced its plans to introduce multiple Vande Bharat Express trains originating from Lucknow.
These trains will connect Lucknow with six prominent cities across the country. This development is set to enhance connectivity and provide convenient travel options for the residents of Lucknow and the surrounding regions.
As per reports, which references other media sources, it is stated that these proposed trains may commence operations prior to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The Vande Bharat trains will connect Lucknow with the following cities: Mumbai, Patna, Puri, Katra, Meerut, and Dehradun.
Just a week ago, the inauguration of the Lucknow to Meerut train was declared by Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav.
