In the video, Shreyti Garg criticized the non-functional condition of Air India’s in-flight entertainment systems in the video, stating that they were entirely non-operational.
On a recent Air India flight from Delhi to Toronto, Shreyti Garg, along with her husband and two young children, encountered a series of issues that significantly made their travel experience bitter. Garg, an Instagram user, took to social media to voice her grievances, sharing a video that has since gone viral, garnering over 2.8 million views.
In the video, Garg highlighted the dysfunctional state of the in-flight entertainment systems, which were completely non-operational. The situation was aggravated by overhead lights that failed to work, forcing her to use her phone’s torchlight to navigate the darkness and assist her toddler. The discomfort did not end there.
Garg also pointed out a safety hazard – a broken seat handle with exposed wires that could have potentially harmed her toddler.
Despite paying a hefty sum of Rs 4.5 lakh for the tickets, Garg’s complaints to the airline staff about the substandard services went unheeded.
She detailed her frustration in her post, indicating that although the crew attempted to reboot the system, the problems persisted, leaving her family to fend for themselves during the journey.
The post has gone viral with users sharing similar experiences with Air India.
