In anticipation of the grand wedding of Anant Ambani, youngest son of Reliance Industries (RIL) chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, heiress of Encore Healthcare, Reliance employees have been gifted special hampers. The lavish wedding ceremony is set to take place today.
While wedding guests enjoy luxury hotel accommodations and extravagant gifts, Reliance employees have also been celebrated. Photos and videos shared by several employees showcase the red gift hampers they received ahead of the event. These hampers include four packets of Haldiram’s namkeen, a box of sweets, and a silver coin.
The boxes feature gold lettering that reads: “With the divine grace of our devis and devtas, we celebrate the wedding of Anant and Radhika. With best wishes, Nita and Mukesh Ambani.”
In light of the wedding festivities, offices in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) have declared work from home for employees until July 15 due to traffic diversions and restrictions from July 12-14.
The wedding will be attended by prominent figures from politics, business, and entertainment. Notable guests include Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, former UK PM Sir Tony Blair, former Canada PM Stephen Harper, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, podcaster and life coach Jay Shetty, and Lockheed Martin CEO James Taiclet.
Following the wedding ceremony, ‘Shubh Ashirwad’ will be held on July 13, and the ‘Mangal Utsav’ or wedding reception will take place on July 14.
