In accordance with the Right to Education (RTE) Act, the online admission process for weaker sections has reached a significant milestone. An online draw was conducted on June 7, and the list of selected students, along with a waiting list, will be released on Saturday, July 20. The results will be available on the official website at

Parents of children selected through this lottery will be notified via SMS on their registered mobile numbers starting Monday, July 22. Those who receive an admission SMS between July 23 and July 31 are required to confirm their child’s admission. This confirmation involves verifying documents at the respective taluka level verification committees in each district.

Sharad Gosavi, Director of Education (Primary), emphasized that parents should not solely rely on SMS notifications. They can also check their child’s application status on the RTE portal under the “application status” tab. By following the instructions provided on the portal, parents can stay informed about their child’s admission process.
