Kriti Sanon is considered as one of the top actresses of Bollywood. She has worked in many great films in her 10-year career. However, she has been a victim of nepotism in her early days in the film industry. At the same time, a choreographer scolded the actress fiercely, then Kriti cried a lot.

Removal from a big banner film
Unlike many other struggling actors, Kriti Sanon has also faced rejection in the industry. She got a big shock when she was dropped from a film of a big production house. Later, a star kid had replaced her.
In an interview, Kriti said: “When I was struggling, I got selected in a film, which I had talked about earlier, though I will not take the name, it was a very big production film but there was no good role in it. I did not have much to do, and it was a big casting director, who asked me if I want to wait or do it? And my manager said that he does not think anything better can be found than this and that I should do it.”
Her journey in movies through South industry:
Before making it to the big screens, Kriti worked as a model and appeared in several TV commercials for brands like Close Up, Samsung, Bata, Amul and others.
In 2014, she began her acting career with the Telugu language action thriller film 1: Nenokkadine, in which she was paired opposite South superstar Mahesh Babu.
Debut in Bollywood with Heropanti
In the same year, Kriti made her Bollywood debut with the action drama film Heropanti alongside Tiger Shroff. She won the Filmfare Best Debut Actress award for her performance in Heropanti.
The following year, she appeared in another Telugu film Dohchay, co-starring Naga Chaitanya.
However, her career graph shot up after she appeared in director Rohit Shetty’s romantic action film Dilwale, alongside superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan. The film was a huge success. After that, there was no looking back for the actress.
Why did Kriti cry a lot during modelling days?
In an interview with ‘Curly Tales’, the actress shared: “It was my first ramp show and the choreographer was very rude towards me because I had spoiled the choreography. The show was being held in a farmhouse, and my heels were getting stuck in the grass. And that was my first time. It was very bad. I started crying because she was scolding me in front of 50 models. I have not worked with its choreographer again till date. This incident remained fresh in my heart and mind for a long time. But if anyone scolds me, I immediately start crying.”
Kriti’s luxury house worth Rs 60 crores
Along with earning a good name in the film world, Kriti has also earned a lot of wealth. Today, the actress lives with her family in a house worth Rs 60 crore in Juhu, Mumbai. According to media reports, Kriti is the owner of a net worth of about Rs 82 crore.
