Aditya Kumar Becomes First Crorepati of KBC 17, Attempts ₹7 Crore Question
Mumbai – Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 has found its first crorepati of the season. Aditya Kumar from Uttarakhand won ₹1 crore on the quiz show, as revealed in the latest promo released by the makers.
Host Amitabh Bachchan was seen hugging Aditya after the big win, while Aditya expressed disbelief at the achievement. The promo further shows him attempting the ₹7 crore jackpot question.
Aditya Kumar, currently posted in Gujarat at a thermal power plant, serves as a Deputy Commandant in CISF. He secured the 6th rank nationwide in the National Security Exams. Sharing his journey, he said that education and discipline had been the keys to his success. “I stayed in a small room, cut myself off from friends, and studied for one year to prepare. That hard work has brought me here,” he said.
His parents, present in the audience, celebrated the milestone with him as Amitabh Bachchan praised his determination.
Kaun Banega Crorepati season 17 premiered on August 11 on Sony Entertainment Television and streams on SonyLIV. The show airs Monday to Friday at 9 PM.
