This new curriculum, designed for both three- and four-year courses, integrates internships to offer students practical experience alongside education.

AICTE has instructed higher education institutions to adopt this curriculum, which includes 120 to 160 credits depending on the course duration. The curriculum emphasizes interdisciplinary education, experiential learning, industry-focused projects, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and effective communication. It also aims to enhance employability and promote innovation and entrepreneurship.

Institutions have the flexibility to tailor the curriculum to their local needs, ensuring it is relevant to their specific region. Additionally, the admission process for BBA programs, which was previously conducted at the college level, is now centralized through the State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell.
