All you need to know about the new PMC guidelines

Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar on April 9, 2021 issued revised guidelines applicable between April 9 and April 30, 2021. These orders are issued under the Covid19 Break the Chain guidelines.
The revised order is as below :
- Students / Examinees under the Pune Municipal Corporation can travel for all examinations from their homes to the examination center and examination center to their homes from Monday to Friday (6 pm to 7 am) and Friday to Monday (6 pm to 7 am) (curfew period) . One parent of the student can also accompany the student during this period. Students must carry their examination card / hall ticket.
- From Friday evening 6 pm to Monday morning 7 am only medical stores, milk supply shall remain open. Milk supply vendors are allowed to keep their shops open from 6 am to 11 am. [ad id=’6805′]
- All delivery channels providing online services (Swiggy, Zomato) are allowed to operate during the curfew period throughout the week. Customers will not be allowed to pick up their food parcels from the hotels or restaurants from Friday evening 6 pm to Monday morning 7 am. Hotels, restaurants, bars can continue food parcels through online delivery channels.
- House maids, servants, drivers, cooks, senior citizen care takers or nursing assistants are allowed to work throughout the week from 7 am to 10 pm. They are allowed to travel between this period only.
- Since competitive examinations are approaching, the food mess (khanawal) shall offer only food parcel service on all days between (7 am to 8 pm)
- Vaccination facilities shall remain operational for all days.
- All construction labour / employees who have residence facilities at the construction site can continue their work on Saturday and Sunday.
- Liquor shops under the jurisdiction of Pune Municipal Corporation and as per the State Excise department can offer home delivery of liquor from Monday to Friday (7 am to 6 pm)
- All optical (eye wear) stores shall remain open from (Monday to Friday between 7 am to 6 pm) [ad id=’5660′]
- PMPML bus services shall be closed on Saturday and Sunday. Ola, Uber and other taxi services shall remain open for emergency situations only.
- All those offices whose employees are working in essential categories should carry RTPCR negative report or Rapid Antigen test negative report.
- The above employees should also get themselves vaccinated as per the recent government guidelines.
Establishments / organisations failing to follow the guidelines shall face strict action under the Disaster Management Act 2005 (Section 51 to 60) and Epidemic Control Act, 1897 and Section 188.
